This system is used in open cast mines for feeding HT power to the mobile mining equipments. The design is robust and suitable for frequent shifting in open cast mines. The enclosure is designed for IP 55 and can be exposed to extreme climatic conditions.

The Field Switch comprises of following major components:

• HT VCB, HT Isolator, PT & CT.
• Protective Relays such as Motor Protection, Instantaneous Over Current and Short Circuit, Under Voltage, Earth Fault/leakage, Negative Phase Sequence etc.

Salient Features:

• The system is designed for 3.3, 6.6 or 11 KV.
• Power can be connected through cable couplers/cable boxes for incoming and out going.
• It is mounted on skids for frequent shifting by pulling the system in mine area.

Typical equipments/machines which can be powered by the field switch are-Drag Line, Rope/Marian Shovel, Over Burden Drill, Excavator and other heavy earth moving machines.

Any other variation can be tailored as per buyer's need.
